A steady forest climb from the Aspen Glen Picnic Area up to Grand View Point, one of the best-named viewpoints in Big Bear — sweeping looks at San Gorgonio, the highest peak in Southern California, and glimpses of the lake on the way up. Connects into the wider South Shore trail network (Skyline, Seven Oaks) if you want to keep going.
