A fully paved, level path tracing the north shore from Stanfield Cutoff toward the Solar Observatory — walkers, runners, strollers, wheelchairs, skaters, and bikes all share it. Continuous lake and mountain views, picnic areas, and shoreline fishing along the way, plus a pedestrian tunnel under the highway connecting to the Cougar Crest trailhead. Consistently rated one of the best free things to do in Big Bear.
