Big Bear's only golf course — a 9-hole, par-35 alpine layout at the base of Bear Mountain Ski Resort, open since 1948. Ponderosa pines line the fairways, water comes into play on several holes, and the San Bernardino Mountains sit behind every shot. The real surprise is the altitude: thinner air at 7,000 feet means the ball carries noticeably farther, so most players end up clubbing down. Want a full 18? They offer a discounted 'Back 9' so you can play it twice. There's a 300-yard driving range between holes 4 and 6, plus chipping, bunker, and putting areas.

Hours, prices, seasons and closures change — we do not publish any of them here because we cannot keep them verified. Check with Bear Mountain Golf Course directly before you go.
